Sun PhuQuoc Expands Global Network with Eight A330s

Phu Quoc is preparing to strengthen its international air connections.

Sun PhuQuoc Airways A330 plans to add eight Airbus A330 wide-body aircraft to its fleet.

Sun PhuQuoc Airways A330 has been finalized, with four joining the fleet in 2026. Additionally, four more will arrive during the first four months of 2027.

The first two aircraft are expected to arrive in September 2026.

They will be put into service soon afterward.

The airline plans to use the additional capacity to strengthen international connections.

Sun PhuQuoc Airways A330 will support initial expansion to markets including South Korea, Russia and Kazakhstan.

Sun PhuQuoc Airways A330 also expects to expand further into longer-haul markets.

Japan and Australia are currently being considered for new routes in 2027.

The airline is also exploring potential connections to European destinations.

The A330s will feature three cabin classes — Business, Premium Economy and Economy — with individual entertainment screens available across the aircraft.

For travelers, the expansion is another sign that Phu Quoc is becoming a larger international aviation hub. More wide-body aircraft should give the island additional capacity for international visitors and create opportunities for new direct routes.
