Thai Airways is adding a direct route between Bangkok and Da Nang, giving travelers connecting through Bangkok a new way to reach central Vietnam without a stopover. Here’s what’s confirmed so far.
The New Route
From December 1, 2026, Thai Airways will operate direct flights between Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) and Da Nang International Airport (DAD), with two daily flights in each direction using Airbus A320 aircraft. The route was announced as part of the airline’s winter 2026/27 schedule, which runs from October 25, 2026, through March 27, 2027.
Flight Schedule
Bangkok to Da Nang:
- TG558: departs 08:00, arrives 09:45
- TG594: departs 16:20, arrives 18:05
Da Nang to Bangkok:
- TG559: departs 10:45, arrives 12:40
- TG595: departs 19:05, arrives 21:00
What This Means for Travelers
This gives travelers combining Thailand and central Vietnam in one trip a direct, full-service option into Da Nang, which is the main airport gateway for Hoi An, Hue, and the surrounding coast. Two daily flights each way also makes short add-on trips more practical — fly into Da Nang in the morning, spend a few days on the central coast, and connect back through Bangkok on the return leg.
