Gozo Brew House

Gozo is the one with an actual claim to fame: in March 2022 it was officially certified by the Vietnam Guinness Association as the largest bamboo structure in the country, built from more than 40,000 bamboo poles and tens of thousands of coconut leaves across 1,900 square meters. Sereno Beach

Sereno Beach is the smallest and most low-key of the six — a “Chill & Relax” thatched beach bar sitting near Nghinh Phong Tower, with teal-cushioned wooden armchairs under a bamboo-blind pergola and a menu board propped up by the entrance. It doesn’t have the online footprint the bigger venues do — no published hours, prices or ratings turned up in research — which tracks with what it looks like in person: a straightforward, unpretentious spot to sit with a drink close to the water rather than a destination bar with its own following. If you want a quieter stop between Nghinh Phong Tower and Gozo Brew House without the crowd or the price tag of either, this is that stop.

Coconut Rooftop

Coconut Rooftop sits on the 6th floor of the Coconut Hotel at 294 Hùng Vương, and unlike the other venues on this list it doesn’t face the beach at all — it looks out over downtown Tuy Hoa’s main boulevard instead, which reviewers repeatedly call the best sunset view in the city. It opens at 4:30pm and runs until 12:30am. The theme is tropical rather than nautical: cocktails built around fresh coconut and local ingredients, a craft beer selection that includes IPA, bar-height seating along the railing, and string lights over an open-air deck built for after-dark drinks. It holds a 4.9/5 rating on Tripadvisor and is ranked the #1 bar/pub in Tuy Hoa out of 3 listed, with reviewers describing it as a “little known” but polished spot best suited to couples or small groups rather than a big night out. Among rooftop-style Tuy Hoa bars, it’s the one most likely to suit a quiet couple’s night out rather than a big group.

Endless Summer Rooftop Pool & Bar

This is the rooftop bar at Wink Tuy Hoa Beach, Unscripted by Hyatt, on the 19th floor — the same pool level covered in our Tuy Hoa hotels guide, worth a special mention here because it’s genuinely one of the more striking bars in town even if you’re not staying at the hotel. The bar counter is a slab of dark marble lit from underneath in shifting color, backed by a sculptural woven-texture wall and a full row of craft taps; a few steps away, the infinity pool glows against the city skyline after sunset. The hotel’s own description promises “tropical cocktails with umbrellas” and weekend pool parties with inflatables, plus 360-degree views over both downtown and the coastline — it’s built for cocktails, city views and the occasional pool party rather than a quiet swim-up crowd.

Sala TuyHoa Beach Club: A Different Kind of Tuy Hoa Bar Scene

Run by the same Sala Hotel Group behind Sala Grand Tuy Hoa Hotel (covered in our hotels guide), the beach club at 51 Độc Lập Street is shared between Sala Grand and its sister property, Sala TuyHoa Beach Hotel — free for guests of either, open to day visitors for 125,000 VND (adults) or 95,000 VND (children) with a bottled water or soft drink included, and open all day with DJ sets in Deep House and Tropical House running roughly 5pm to 1am.
