I’ve walked beachfront spots many times, usually barefoot at sunset. What started as a casual stroll along Võ Nguyên Giáp became a mission. Additionally, the goal is to find My Khe beachfront spots worth your time. We test them and pick the best. These eleven are the ones I actually return to.
Some are loud, some are quiet, all sit on the sand or just steps away from My Khe beachfront spots. If you’re checking flights to Da Nang, this list should finish your evening. Additionally, these spots offer easy access from most hotels near the coast. They cover a range of atmospheres, from lively to serene.
🔥 Esco Beach — Fire Shows and Happy Hour
📍 Lô 12 Võ Nguyên Giáp | 🕒 8:00 AM – midnight | 💰 Happy hour 3–6 PM, burger+beer deals Mon–Thu
Esco hits the middle ground between chilled and lively.
Additionally, two stories, a wooden deck, and the sound of waves are right there.
The fire show starts nightly at 9:30 PM.
For My Khe beachfront spots, Prosecco and cocktails are available from 2 PM, and the burger-and-beer deal is solid.
The first floor is non-smoking; upstairs is where the action is.
Ideal for sunset drinks that turn into a late night.
Avoid if you want a quiet, candlelit dinner; it gets loud after dark.

🏖️ Kalà Kalà Beach Club — Free Entry, Pool, Towels
📍 51 Võ Nguyên Giáp | 🕒 8:00 AM – 2:00 AM | 💰 Free entry, drinks on the pricier side
Opened in August 2025, this Mediterranean-style club was an instant hit. It features no cover charge, a big pool right by the sand, and towels provided with your drink order. The venue blends beach accessibility with upscale comfort, making it easy to settle in for a long day.
By day it’s all sunbeds and smoothies; by sunset the DJ starts, and on Fridays and Saturdays there’s a fire show. Guests move between lounging and dancing as the atmosphere shifts from relaxed to lively. The rhythm suits both solo travelers and groups seeking varied entertainment.
Best for a full day-to-night beach experience without spending a fortune on entry. Avoid if you’re on a tight budget, because cocktails aren’t cheap, but the setting justifies the cost for many visitors. Overall, it aims to offer value without compromising the vibe.

🚢 Columbo Beach Club — Ships, Pool Parties, 3,000 Guests
📍 51 Võ Nguyên Giáp (same complex as Kalà Kalà) | 🕒 10:30 AM – 3:00 AM | 💰 Mid-range, DJ sets, massive pool
Additionally, right next to Kalà Kalà, it presents a completely different concept.
Columbo is built around three full-size replicas of Columbus’s ships — the Santa Maria, La Nina, and La Pinta.
The stage is shaped like a ship’s wheel.
Torches light the deck, and the pool can hold up to 3,000 people.
It’s loud and flashy.
It’s one of the most unique beach clubs I’ve seen anywhere in Vietnam.
Best for group nights, DJ sets, and anyone who wants a story to tell.
Avoid if you’re seeking a quiet, intimate evening.

🍗 MAD PLATTER — Fried Chicken, Salt Coffee, Ocean View
📍 Lot 07 Võ Nguyên Giáp | 🕒 9:00 AM – 11:00 PM | 💰 Mains from 150k VND
I walked in without expectations and left with a new favorite. MAD PLATTER is open, breezy, and unpretentious. The fried chicken platter is massive — crispy, juicy, and built for sharing. Their salt coffee is one of the best I’ve had: balanced, slightly savory, and dangerously easy to finish. Best for: a casual group meal with a sea view. Avoid if: you’re after fine dining — this is comfort food done right. ☕

🍣 KYOTO — Teppanyaki, Sushi, and a Terrace
📍 10 Võ Nguyên Giáp | 🕒 11:00 AM – 10:00 PM | 💰 Mid-range, generous portions
KYOTO has become one of my go-to spots for Japanese food in Da Nang. The sushi is fresh, the sashimi is properly cut, and the teppanyaki show — especially the Wagyu beef — is worth booking a counter seat for. There’s a terrace with a sea breeze and an air-conditioned indoor section for when the heat gets too much. Best for: a proper Japanese meal on the beachfront without the resort price tag. Avoid if: you’re in a hurry — the teppanyaki experience is meant to be slow. 🥩

🍛 NAZARE Indian — Butter Chicken with a Sea View
📍 Lô 02 Võ Nguyên Giáp | 🕒 noon – 1:00 AM | 💰 Mid-range, lunch combos available
I’ve eaten Indian food all over the world, and NAZARE is in the top tier. The butter chicken is rich and velvety, the garlic naan is fresh from the tandoor, and the mango lassi actually tastes like mango. Happy hour runs 3–6 PM, and the terrace faces the ocean — sunset curry is a real thing here. Best for: a spice fix with a view. Avoid if: you’re not into Indian food — the menu doesn’t wander far from the classics. 🧈

🍸 Harbour — 4th-Floor Happy Hour with an Ocean View
📍 03-05 Võ Nguyên Giáp (4th floor) | 🕒 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM | 💰 Happy hour discounts on cocktails and beer
Harbour sits on the 4th floor of a beachfront building, and the view is open and unobstructed — nothing between you and the ocean except a cold drink. We went during happy hour, and the cocktails were discounted enough to feel like a win. The food is decent, the breeze is real, and it’s never felt crowded. Best for: a quiet sunset drink above the strip. Avoid if: you want sand between your toes — this is a shoes-on kind of place. 🍹

🏖️ Coco Beach Bar — Sand, Mojitos, Open Late
📍 Lô 10 Võ Nguyên Giáp | 🕒 11:00 AM – 1:00 AM | 💰 Mid-range, cocktails from 80k VND
Coco is simple: wooden tables, bright lights, and the sound of waves right next to you.
No loud club music, no dress code — just cold beer and a view.
Mojitos are made with fresh ingredients.
Additionally, they’re one of the few beach bars in Da Nang that stay open until 1 AM.
Best for: a low-key evening on the sand without overthinking it.
Avoid if: you’re looking for a party — this is more of a chill-out spot.
🌊

🌅 Lounge Beach — Golden Hour Sets and a Fire Show
📍 1c Võ Nguyên Giáp | 🕒 7:30 AM – 1:00 AM | 💰 Golden Hour sets from 490k VND
Lounge Beach is one of those places where you walk in and immediately feel like you’re on holiday. The Golden Hour sets (4:30–6:30 PM) are the move: the Sunset Chill Set gets you Caesar salad, seafood pizza, and two beers or cocktails for 490k. There’s a fire show at 9:30 PM, and happy hour runs all day. Best for: a sunset dinner that doesn’t feel rushed. Avoid if: you’re eating solo — the sets are built for two. 🍕

🏖️ Camino Beach Club — No Cover, No Minimum
📍 An Hải, Sơn Trà (beachfront) | 🕒 8:00 AM – 11:30 PM | 💰 No cover, drinks from 40k VND
Camino is the antidote to overpriced beach clubs. No entrance fee, no minimum spend — just sun loungers, umbrellas, and a bar that serves cold beer and cocktails. The food is fine, but the real draw is the setting. Grab a beer, sit on the sand, and don’t let anyone rush you. Best for: a cheap, no-pressure beach afternoon. Avoid if: you want table service and a menu — this is barefoot territory. 🍺

🥩 FOR YOU — Steakhouse by the Beach with a Balcony View
📍 Lô 1C Võ Nguyên Giáp | 🕒 10:00 AM – 11:00 PM | 💰 Mid‑range to high‑end
FOR YOU sits directly on the strip with a balcony that catches the ocean breeze and a kitchen that knows exactly what to do with a ribeye. We didn’t have a reservation and ended up waiting — it was worth it. The Australian Wagyu was tender, perfectly medium‑rare, and the marbling was on point. The lobster combo came with the steak, generous and well‑cooked. There’s a cigar lounge inside, air‑conditioned and properly ventilated, and the staff do birthday setups if you ask. Best for: a proper steak night with sunset views. Avoid if: you’re on a backpacker budget — this is a treat, not a daily spot. 🥩

🏨 Where to Stay & What to Pair It With

💎 Verdict: One Street, Eleven Very Different Evenings
These eleven My Khe beachfront spots prove that Da Nang’s main strip is more than just a pretty beach — it’s a living, breathing collection of places that can fill an entire week without repeating a vibe. Come for a fire show, stay for the salt coffee, and let the promenade do the rest. 🌊
